Refund Policy
Digital Products
All products sold through the AI Irreplaceability Protocol platform are digital products delivered instantly upon purchase. Because the Oracle reading and Protocol plan are generated specifically for your profile using AI, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense.
When We Issue Refunds
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- Before generation: If you purchased a product but have not yet started generating your personalized document, contact us and we will refund the purchase in full. Your EU 14-day withdrawal right remains intact until performance begins.
- Technical failure: If a technical issue prevents delivery of your product (generation failure, download error, email delivery failure) and we cannot resolve it within 48 hours.
- Duplicate purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same product twice, we will refund the duplicate charge.
- Significant quality issue: If the generated content is demonstrably unrelated to your profile or contains fundamental errors, contact us within 7 days of purchase.
When We Do Not Issue Refunds
- Change of mind after generation: Once a personalized product has been generated and delivered, we cannot offer a refund simply because you changed your mind. (Before generation, change-of-mind refunds are always available — see above.)
- Subjective dissatisfaction: Results are personalized based on the information you provide. Different inputs produce different outputs. If you believe your results are inaccurate, contact us to discuss regeneration.
- Tier confusion: Please review the feature comparison on our pricing page before purchasing. We do not refund because a lower tier does not include features from a higher tier.
Upgrade Credit
If you purchased the Standard Protocol (EUR 19) and wish to upgrade to Premium, contact us within 30 days. We will apply your previous purchase amount as credit toward the higher tier. The Oracle is free, so no credit applies to it.
How to Request a Refund
Send an email with your account email address and a brief description of the issue tohello@whatsmyedge.com. We typically respond within 24 hours on business days.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe, our payment processor.
EU Consumer Rights
Under EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)), the 14-day withdrawal right for online purchases does not apply to digital content whose performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent. At checkout you give this consent by ticking the withdrawal-waiver checkbox; your right of withdrawal lapses once your personalized document has been generated and delivered. Until generation begins, you can still withdraw and receive a full refund.
However, you always retain the right to a remedy if the digital content does not conform to what was advertised. Contact us if you believe the product does not match its description.
